A Minnesota man who shot five Black Lives Matter protesters has been sentenced to 15 years in prison.
The Jefferson Circuit Court Judge Olu Stevens was suspended from work for 90 days without pay for criticizing the jury which consisted predominantly out of white people. His healthy criticism was called ‘racially charged’ and rated as a judicial misconduct case.
Just recently a new report was issued by the University of Chicago’s crime lab. The report shows that though black people compose only one third of the city’s population, they become victims in 80% of murder cases.
